In the last several years, there’s been an emergence of a non-traditional, spiritual end of life gatherings, in unexpected, beautiful, event spaces. They are comforting, authentic, heart-mending events. A celebration of life feels more true to what we want on that day: connection, support, opportunities to laugh and cry, a shared meal, a forum for sharing precious memories. As a grieving loved one, we should not feel rushed to decide how to honor the person we’ve just lost, and it should not be an unexpectedly large financial burden. Allow us to help you plan an end of life celebration with the personal touch of A Spirited Ceremony.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE EVENT PLANNING (VIRTUAL)
Coordinating a large event in the most difficult time in your life is a burden every bereaved family has to face. For a family who has chosen cremation, all the elements of event planning can be handled by us. Allow us to help you iron out the details of hosting an end of life service and reception so you can focus on what matters most.
Celebration of Life Planning: $75/per hour
Service fee: 5% of total event cost
COORDINATOR/CELEBRANT SERVICES
If the ceremony that best suits your family requires a celebrant or ritualist to lead the service, we would be honored to preside. On-site coordination includes handling the run of day details. Celebrant duties include pre-event planning and writing, helping to curate and write the ceremony script, reading selections and preparation calls.
On-site Coordinator or Celebrant Rate: $100/hour, two hour minimum
Pre-Event Planning Celebrant Rate: $100/hour, 4 hour minimum
EULOGY Writing
Eulogizing a loved one is one of the most meaningful, difficult but cathartic experiences we have. It is an opportunity to capture your relationship, memories and life together. It can be difficult to extract exactly what we want to say from a lifetime of memories. Let us help you write the speech that comes straight from your heart.
Initial Meeting: $50/per hour, one hour minimum (video call)
Eulogy Flat Rate: $150 (includes a first and second draft)
Additional Edits: $25 per subsequent draft
Express Ghost Writing (eulogy provided within 24 hours of the introductory call): $250
OBITUARY WRITING
Memorializing your loved one in a thoughtful obituary for all to read is a beautiful way to honor to their life. Allow us to help you write the perfect tribute, one that captures the essence of who your loved one was, not only their accomplishments but their interests, personality and what mattered to them most.
Initial Obituary Call and follow up email: $50/per hour, one hour minimum
Obituary Flat Rate: $200
Additional Edits: from second draft, $25 per draft
